Wedding glamping is eco-friendly because it drastically cuts guest travel emissions by providing on site accommodation. Tents and yurts have a lighter footprint on the land. It reduces waste via digital systems and local sourcing, supporting biodiversity.
At Ashridge our water is sourced from a borehole on site and all our waste is processed in a bio-digester here as well. We compost and recycle as much as we can on site. We have installed water saving sinks and toilets in our new toilet and shower block. We’re currently looking at the cost of sourcing our electricity from sustainable sources too.
Budget-Friendly: You can use nature and do a lot more yourself if you want to
Wedding glamping can save money by creating an all-in-one venue, eliminating hotel/taxi costs, reducing décor needs (using natural settings), and allowing for DIY & off-peak savings.
Consolidating expenses into a festival-style experience where guests stay, party, and sleep in one spot also means cutting travel and logistics. Glamping means you can create more of a DIY experience how ever you choose, as you are not restricted like you might be in a hotel.
We also have a newly converted toilet and shower block on site, meaning no additional facilities need to be hired in.
